Comments
This double album has the words "reference CD" written on the actual discs, and this is what it appears
to be sourced from, i.e. an early reference version of the official Live at The BBC set. In fact the insert
states "Date Generated: Wednesday June 1, 1994".
The sound quality is everything you would expect from Apple / EMI (good but compressed), and is on a par
with the official version.
This CD contains four tracks that did not make it onto the Official release. These are "P.S. I Love You",
"Twist and Shout", "And I Love Her" and "I'll Follow The Sun". The first two new tracks originate from
the "Pop Goes The Beatles" show which was broadcast on 25th June 1963. "And I Love Her" is from "Top Gear"
(broadcast on 16th July 1964), and "I'll Follow The Sun" is also from "Top Gear", but this time from the
show broadcast on 26th November 1964. (It should be noted that this track was legitimately issued on the
"Baby It's You" four track CD single.) This leaves "P.S. I Love You" and "Twist and Shout" which Mr.Sulpy
advises are upgrades on the previously available sound quality for these tracks.
