Label: Open Source Studios OSSCD014 Sleeve notes: John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison in seperate interviews talk about their lives and their time in The Beatles. At the time of this interview John Lennon had just got back together with Yoko Ono and was still waiting on the resolve of his US immigration status which included an FBI investigation. He talks about his life in America including what it was like being followed. Lennon also talks about Yoko and his separation from her, his relationships with the other Beatles, and talks candidly about what, in his opinion, was his best piece of work. Amongst the subjects Paul McCartney touches on is how he and John went about writing their first songs. He also discusses life after The Beatles. Known as the retiring Beatle, George Harrison, the youngest of the four, discusses how he has to persuade John and Paul into letting Ringo join the band and after which the band hit true success. Speaking about life after the break up, George discusses how he produced a succession of classic cuts, which gained him the title as one of the greatest masters of rock.
