4. Forth Radio Network
A rare Interview before their second house at the ABC Cinema, Lothian Road, Edinburgh. Recorded on Wednesday 29th April 1964,
conducted by Moira Furmage this has remained undocumented until now, hence this airing is its first in over 35 years!

An extremely rare mix from United Artist 1968 Cassette release and the United Artist 1970 8 Track Tape release
6. Hong Kong Interview
An Interview conducted by Bob Rogers at Kaitak Airport, Hong Kong on Wednesday June 1 Oth 1964 before The Beatles left for Australia.
7. Scene at 6.30 Interview
Recorded at Television House, Rediffusion TV Studios on Tuesday July 7th 1964 and broadcast the same day on the Granada TV Programme
8. Top Gear Trailers
To launch the new Top Gear Programme these trailers were recorded at Bernie Andrews and Terry Doran's flat preceding taping of the 1st
show on Tuesday July 14th 1964. Some were also recorded on July 16th 1964 the day the show was broadcast.

A very clean performance recorded at Studio B7/S2, Broadcasting House, London for inclusion in the first edition of Top Gear on July 14th
1964 for broadcast on the July 16th 1964
10-14 BLACKPOOL NIGHT OUT
Here for the first time since the original airing on Sunday July 19th 1964 is The Beatles performance from the summer edition of Mike and
Bernie Winters ITV networked Big Night Out Show. Again, as with other items in this series this show was found on a Scotch 3M reel to reel
tape. The complete show was thought to be lost, but recently the video tape of the entire show was unearthed. (Look out for it in the near
future).

15.George Harrison on Juke Box Jury
Recorded on Saturday July 25th 1964 in Studio 4, BBC Television Centre, London. George rehearsed his performance in the afternoon and
then appeared in the live broadcast between 5.40 pm - 6.05 pm. Ringo also taped his appearance for the Saturday August 1st 1964 edition, but
unfortunately we cannot present it in this series as the tapes are lost. (Anybody with them - get them out and make them available to the world!)
16. What You're Doing
Take 11 - Recorded at Abbey Road on Wednesday September 30th 1964 this was documented as being the new 'best' take, although as we
know it was later remade. This is the unedited master tape, with the full reprise instrumental coda.
17. Mr Moonlight
Take 4 - 20 - Recorded at Abbey Road on Friday August 14th 1964, this cover version of the 1962 Dr Feelgood and The Interns track has a
totally different feel to it than the released take 8 version. It does not feature the Hammond organ and percussion instruments but features
interesting guitar work by John and George.

Take 11 - Recorded at Abbey Road on Wednesday September 30th 1964. This is a slightly edited version prepared by John Barrett for release
in the early '80's
19. Tyne Tees Interview
Recorded in their Stockton-on-Tees hotel room before their performance at The Globe Cinema on Thursday October 15th 1964 and broadcast
in the news-magazine programme North-East Newsview on Friday October 16th 1964.

Here for the first time is the complete recording session that took place at The Playhouse Theatre, London on Tuesday November 17th 1964.

Here for the first time is the complete recording session that took place at The Playhouse Theatre, London on Tuesday November 17th 1964.
Both tracks were part of the Top Gear broadcast of Thursday November 26th 1964. It was the Beatles' 50th music programme contribution for
the BBC since 1962.
