16. Peter Sellers Presenting
While filming at Twickenham Film Studios, St Margaret's, Twickenham Peter Sellers presented the Beatle(s)! with a Grammy Award on behalf
of the US National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. A Hard Day's Night won the "Best Performance by a Vocal Group" category for
1964. Sellers called it a "Grandma Award" and this lead John and then the rest of them to sing a verse from "It's A Long Way To Tipperary". It
was broadcast on the NBC Grammy Awards programme on Tuesday May 18th 1965
17. BIS Interview
Recorded at the Saville Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, London on Friday July 30th 1965 this interview with Dibbs Mather was for the British
Information Service that was responsible for promoting British culture in foreign countries. The interview was packaged with CD material. titled
"The Beatles" and sent to the British Council in New York for dispatch to specified US radio stations for local broadcast.
18. The Beatles Abroad
Brian Matthew joined The Beatles entourage from the August 15th - August 20th 1965 to report on this stage of the group's North American
tour. Brian Epstein gave permission to the BBC Transcription Service to record interviews with The Beatles for a documentary programme. The
material taped was compiled into a 45 minute documentary "The Beatles Abroad" broadcast by the Light Programme on Monday August 30th
1965 - a bank holiday in England, Wales. Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. Scotland did not hear the broadcast until Monday January
3rd 1966. It has not been heard in this form since those dates. (Standard CD material omitted due to time restrictions

These two tracks were recorded at NEMS office in Argyll Street separately by Brian Matthew for Pop Profile.They were not aired in the UK as
the programme was produced by the BBC's Transcription Service expressly for overseas sale. George was first to be taped, starting at 4.30 pm.
John's interview commenced at 5.00 pm. Ringo and Paul were taped on Monday May 2nd 1966, their interviews are to be found on The
Beatles Mythology, Vol 2. CD 4, The Beatles 1966 (STR 014).
