Comments
At long, long last an official release on CD of The Beatles: Live at the Hollywood Bowl; an album that only came out once on vinyl on
the 5th May 1977, and until now has not been officially released in the UK on CD.

The four bonus tracks have been edited together, so that there is no gap between them and sound as if they are from the same concert.

But hearing John and Paul talking to each other is not only heart warming but yet another reminder of how much talent and ability they had together.

The Beatles played three concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, all of which were recorded by Capitol and although they can be found on many bootlegs, are in
what I think is the best quality in the bootleg box: The Beatles - The Complete Hollywood Bowl Concerts - 1964-1965 - Midnight Beat MD CD 108/109

Official notes
Live at the Hollywood Bowl is a remixed and remastered version of the album, released on 9th September 2016 to coincide with the release of The Beatles:
Eight Days a Week. It includes four additional songs not found on the original release. According to the producer, Giles Martin, son of the Beatles'
original producer, George Martin, "Capitol Studios called saying they'd discovered some Hollywood Bowl three track tapes in their archive.

We transferred them and noticed an improvement over the tapes we've kept in the London archive. Alongside this I'd been working for some time with a team
headed by technical engineer James Clarke on demix technology, the ability to remove and separate sounds from a single track.

One of the bonus tracks on the album is "Baby's in Black" from the "Real Love" single CD, which was previously unavailable on an album.
