Tomorrow Never Knows (Mono Matrix I) Comments These songs were not intended by The Beatles for release as a separate album, by releasing them this way Capitol were doing what was usual for them. They were taking tracks that The Beatles had intended for release on the albums 'Help!', 'Rubber Soul' and 'Revolver' and taking them off of the US releases and making a 'new' album containing these tracks; as well as putting on it the single 'We Can Work It Out' / 'Day Tripper'. Although I don't think it was intended that way, the 'butchers' photo used on the originally planned album cover summed up how their records were being treated by Capitol.
